| Denver, CO (Sports Network) - The Colorado Avalanche have signed forward David Jones to a one-year contract, the club announced Wednesday. Jones scored 27 goals for the Avalanche last season, sharing the team lead with Matt Duchene. Jones also posted 18 assists in 77 games for a career-high 45 points.
